Readers's Choice 4-in-1 Cards
Each issue of Card Times includes a unique 4-in-1 card, initially called "Reader's Choice". Readers are asked to send in their favourite pictures of Britain in the 21st century and we pay £10 for each one we use.
The first series includes pictures as diverse as statues of famous footballers (Dixie Dean, Stanley Matthews, etc) and entertainers (Eric Morecambe, Stan Laurel), as well as wartime tributes (The Dam Busters Memorial, the Battle of Britain Memorial) plus offbeat items (Camberley's "White Elephant", Oxford's "Shark Has Landed" sculpture) and much more. In all, there's 112 images on 28 cards, and this series is now available at only £10 post free.
Currently we are issuing a second Readers Choice series with Card Times. Images so far include memorials to Capt Robert Falcon Scott and Sir Peter Scott, and to William Wilberforce and the anti-slavery movement, as well as more off-beat subjects.
Also now available is a short eight card (32 images) set called "The Name's the Same" . Did you know that you could visit Scotland and Wales without leaving England, or Dallas and Denver without crossing the Atlantic? We open your eyes to the more unusual place-names to be found in the British Isles.
